STAGE PERFORMANCE (intial idea)

A man and a woman facing the back of the stage but turned 45 dgrs away form eachother. The audience text messages sayings, jibberish, thoughts, commands, etc. to 2 actors (for now). The actor reads the text as it is projected in front of them. The actors work at how to deliver lines the most effectively (only spoken, to themselves, to eachother, to the audience). The audience can direct a message to a particular actor.

I think this process lends itself to emergent behavior that controls the people and narrative on stage. the audience would (hopefully) move past the initial stage of texting in and just listening to the performers, the audience would then start directing them to interact with eachother. The audience would have to get past just saying dirty words, or not, but I think it would move more into what can we make them do to eachother and behave on stage. they could tell them to love, to get naked, to kiss, other things. We'd have to be prepared for the awkward sayings. Some of the messages may be like 'kill the person' or something like that could be taken very seriously in terms of actions on stage.

abreviated behavior towards eachother, through abbreviated sentences and thoughts.
